FABGO LOGISTICS - TRUCK OWNER TERMS & CONDITIONS
By registering as a Truck Owner on the FabGo Logistics platform, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
1. VEHICLE DOCUMENTATION & COMPLIANCE
You MUST maintain valid and current documentation for all vehicles registered on the platform, including:
- Comprehensive Vehicle Insurance (mandatory)
- Road Worthiness Certificate
- Commercial Vehicle (Hackney) Permit
- Vehicle Registration Documents
- Valid Driver's License
Expired or invalid documents will result in immediate suspension from the platform until compliance is restored. It is your sole responsibility to ensure all documents remain valid at all times.
2. COMPREHENSIVE INSURANCE REQUIREMENT - CRITICAL
ALL vehicles registered on FabGo Logistics MUST have valid COMPREHENSIVE insurance coverage. Third-party insurance is NOT acceptable. FabGo Logistics and its affiliates are NOT liable for any accidents, vehicle damage, cargo damage, personal injury, or losses of any kind during transit. You bear FULL and SOLE responsibility for your vehicle, cargo, and any incidents that occur during transportation.
3. JOB ACCEPTANCE & COMMITMENT
Once you accept a job offer, you are legally committed to completing that shipment. Cancellation after acceptance may negatively affect your platform rating and may result in financial penalties. Repeated cancellations or failure to complete accepted jobs may lead to temporary or permanent account suspension.
4. PAYMENT TERMS & COMMISSION
Payment for completed deliveries will be released to your registered bank account within 24-48 hours after the shipper approves your Proof of Delivery (POD). An 8% platform commission will be deducted from your earnings. This commission covers job matching, GPS tracking infrastructure, escrow payment processing, dispute resolution services, and platform maintenance.
5. CARGO HANDLING & RESPONSIBILITY
You are fully responsible for the safe loading, securing, transportation, and delivery of all cargo assigned to you. Any damage to cargo caused by negligence, improper handling, poor road judgment, or inadequate securing will be YOUR LIABILITY. You may be required to compensate the shipper for damaged or lost cargo if found at fault.
6. REAL-TIME LOCATION SHARING
During active jobs, you MUST enable and maintain real-time GPS location sharing through the FabGo app. This allows shippers to track their cargo and ensures transparency. Disabling location sharing or manipulating GPS data may result in payment delays, disputes, withheld funds, or account suspension.
7. VEHICLE SAFETY & MAINTENANCE
You are responsible for ensuring your vehicle is roadworthy, properly maintained, and safe for commercial cargo transportation. FabGo Logistics is not responsible for mechanical failures, breakdowns, or accidents. Regular vehicle maintenance is your responsibility.
8. PLATFORM USAGE & CONDUCT
You agree to conduct yourself professionally and ethically while using the platform. Any fraudulent activity, misrepresentation, abuse of the rating system, or violation of these terms will result in immediate account termination and potential legal action.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
FabGo Logistics acts solely as a technology platform connecting shippers and truck owners. We do not own, operate, or control any vehicles. Our liability is strictly limited to platform services. We are not liable for any accidents, cargo damage, delays, or losses arising from transportation activities.
10. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Any disputes regarding payments, ratings, or service quality must be raised within 48 hours. FabGo Logistics will mediate disputes fairly. Unresolved disputes will be subject to arbitration under Nigerian law.
11. DATA PROTECTION & PRIVACY
Your personal data, vehicle information, and transaction history will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR). By using the platform, you consent to data processing as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
12. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By clicking "Accept" below, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. This is a legally binding agreement governing your use of the FabGo Logistics platform.
